As a condition of enrolment, all students and their parents or guardians undertake to respect and follow the school rules of the Port Moresby Grammar School. The School provides a disciplined, safe and secure learning environment for its students. Self-discipline, through support, guidance and consistency, is the ultimate goal for all students. Uniform Students at the Port Moresby Grammar School are expected to represent their school at all times whilst in uniform. POM Grammar is a unique educational institution in Papua New Guinea. Founded almost 20 years ago, it has grown from humble beginnings to the magnificent school it is today. The school caters for students from Preparatory to Grade 12 – it is indeed, a one stop shop – and students of all nationalities are welcome. A variety of international examinations and qualifications are available to parents and our students compare well to their peers in other countries through sitting the University of Cambridge, and Australian examinations.
As the Founder and Founding Principal of the School, I am very proud of what we have achieved. Mrs Mele Olley, has been at the school for 15 years, from teacher, through to department head, head of school, and now our fourth Principal. She runs a fine team of Papua New Guinean and overseas teachers who are dedicated to providing the best.
